Class A Commercial Driving 301

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has set forth comprehensive training standards for individuals seeking their Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) for the first time. These standards, known as the entry-level driver training (ELDT) requirements, mandate the completion of a structured instructional program.

Our Class A CDL training course is meticulously crafted to align with the prerequisites outlined in The Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 49 CFR Part 380, Special Training Requirements.

Upon successful completion of our course, you’ll be thoroughly equipped to meet FMCSA’s rigorous training standards as you pursue your Class A CDL. Your achievement will be documented in the U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) TPR database. Following additional federal training prerequisites, including hands-on experience, you’ll be eligible to undertake your state’s CDL examination. Upon passing the state test, you’ll be granted a Texas state CDL.
